A House of Cards

Do you ever go through spurts...

where you have nothing new to share or you have too much to share? That's how it always seems to be for me. The last couple of weeks have been a bit slow, but this week I have lots. It makes for a good blogging week. ;)

So today, I can share a few projects that I made for Creative Cafe. There are lots of new products coming out that will be released in May. (You can check out Danelle's blog for some photos.) A few of the items I've gotten a chance to work with are the ledger papers, journaling strips, and tickets. I think you are going to love these. They are so fun and easy to use, and they coordinate with the existing lines, Spirit and Lucky. Isn't that great?!

Fun stuff, huh? ;)

Well, that's it for me today. I will probably be back in a few days, cause like I said in the beginning of the post, I have more to share. :)

Hope you all have a great weekend!

flowers, flowers, flowers...

I am addicted to flowers. I can't quit using them. I feel like I put them on everything I make. And I don't discriminate. Silk, paper, chipboard, button, etc... if I've got one, I will use it. Plain and simple.

This week, it is chipboard flowers. Have you ever been to Magistical Memories online store? The have tons of different flower-shaped chipboard. I just can't get enough of it all. Here are a couple of cards I made using a couple of their chipboard flowers.

The first I made for Sketch This: Cards! sketch #34. (Great sketch, Janelle!) It uses the Sensational flower. I think that this is one of my favorite flower shapes. So simple, but so beautiful.

The next one uses the Madeline flower. Such a pretty petal shape. How could you not love it?

I want to thank everyone for stopping by and leaving me such nice comments. You are all so sweet! I have been pretty busy doing scrappy things the last couple of weeks. I am seriously hoping that after the weekend, I will get a chance to go blog hopping. I will try to stop by and "see" you all. Hugs!

Well, it's over...

the birthday party that is. Twelve little girls, ages 6 to 8, drinking tons of soda, eating lots of pizza and cake, and bowling like there was no tomorrow. Oh, to be that age again. The kids had lots of fun, and that's what it's all about, right? :)

I realized that I never posted my January projects for Self-Addressed. Can you tell I had love on the brain? It WAS getting close to Valentine's day when I did these, so I guess it's OK. ;) This kit was full of Collage Press. Yum Yum!!! I hope you enjoy.

I am going to get in bed and watch a little Saturday Night Live before I drift off into LaLa land. I hope you all have a great rest of the weekend. Good night!

My freckle-face, big dimples, little girl...

is growing up. My oldest dd, Grace, just turned 8 yesterday. I can't believe how fast time flies by. I can remember the day we brought her home for the first time like it was yesterday. Ahhhh... memories. *sniff sniff*

Isn't she a cutie? ;)

We have been busy doing birthday stuff all weekend, so I haven't been around as much. So many people came by and left comments. Thanks so much! I am going to come by and check out your blogs, now that the kids are back in school (they had the day off yesterday) and I am done with my Self-Addressed February projects.

So, onto the fun part! I did eeny meeny miny mo, and lucky winners are...

You are awesome and blogging when you can is better
for folks who enjoy
your creations than not blogging at all. We'll take what we
can get! ; ) By
the way, I've never been able to keep a journal
either!

OK, I admit it...

I am not a good blogger. I totally forget about doing this. I never really did journal as a kid or adult, so I guess it is just not in my nature. So, no more promises about trying to do better. I will update when I can (or remember).

I do want to thank everyone that does come by and comment though. You are all so sweet to take time out of your busy lives to add a little sunshine to mine. So for that reason, I am going to send out a RAK (or two ;) ) to spread the love. All you have to do is leave a comment on this post by Monday, Feb. 18, 12am CST, and I will throw your name in a hat for some fun prizes.

I will leave you with a card I did recently for Creative Cafe.

This uses products from the Spirit collection and one of the new butterfly dies for Creative Cafe by AccuCut. There are lots of fun new dies and new products coming out soon. You can see some of them and projects by the design team for Creative Cafe and Art Warehouse at Danelle Johnson's blog. So much eye candy there. Don't miss it!

Thanks for stopping by!
