A House of Cards

Halloween is almost here...

but let's pull out the Christmas projects instead. ;)
These are some things I made recently for Provo Craft. Definitely gets me in the Christmas spirit.
For the wreath, I used the Joys of the Season cartridge. It is hard to tell from the photo, but everything is shimmery and sparkly. Lots of Bazzill Bling and glitter glue. Wish I could have captured that in the photo better.
Here are a couple of round gift bags/boxes. I used the Plantin SchoolBook, Accent Essentials, and Christmas Cheer cartridges for these. These are sparkly IRL too.

For this project, I was asked to make a gift wrap. All the ornament shapes are from the Christmas Cheer cartridge.

For this last one, I just made a simple box slide. Very quick and easy. I used the Accent Essentials and Christmas Cheer cartridges and the Charms die and Snowflake embossing folder (Cuttlebug) for the tag.
Well, that's it for me today. Hope you all have a great week!

Happy Saturday!

Hope you all are enjoying your weekend. It is a beautiful day here in Alabama today. Sunny and 66 degrees. Can't beat that! We had a soccer game to go to this morning. The last one for the season. Yay! Don't get me wrong... I love for my kids to play sports, but I am glad for the break. 3 nights of practice a week and Saturday games take their toll. I can't wait to not have to be anywhere next week. ;)

I have a few projects to share today. I made all of these using Lime Tart's October A La Tarte. Such a fun kit, loaded full of scrappy goodness. Lots of Webster's Pages (might first time using this paper) and some super cute Odd Bird Planet Stamps (gotta love the cupcake!).

You can check out the Lime Tart gallery to see some of the wonderful projects the design team came up with this month. Always such a treat!
If you are interested in purchasing any of the Lime Tart kits, you can check Odd Bird Planet (the U.S. distributor) or Lime Tart (Australia).
Thanks so much for stopping by! :)

I totally spaced...

and forgot about the challenge I posted. No one had a chance to play, but I still have a prize to give away. So I am going to make it easy on you... just leave a comment on this post, and I will randomly select a winner sometime on Monday, October 6th. That's all you have to do. ;)

So on to other things...

Can you believe it is already October? I just LOVE fall. It is my favorite time of the year. We have already started having some cooler temperatures. Nothing major, but for the south it great. We are already starting to talk about costumes for Halloween too. This is one of our favorite holidays.

I made a fun little Halloween Party Set not too long ago for Creative Cafe.

Lots of my favorite things here... buttons, ribbon, tags, felt, patterned paper, gems. Just perfect for Halloween!

I wanted to let you all know that they are having another giveaway over at the Creative Cafe Blog. All you have to do is link or post your best Creative Cafe projects that you have made with a comment about what your favorite Creative Cafe products are in the project. You will then be entered to win a spot in a new online class, "A Year with Mellie", with Melodee Langworthy. If you have not see her work, you are missing out! You can click here for details. Make sure to get your entries in soon. They will be selecting one random winner on October 10th. Good luck!

Hope you all have a great weekend, and I will see you again on Monday! :)
