A House of Cards

Just trying to recover...

we have the sickness at our house. It is making it's way through each of us, one by one. The kids have each missed a day of school because of having a fever. Pretty much just bad colds, but enough to make you feel yucky and worn out.

I don't have a ton to share of new stuff to share, because I haven't been creating much. Just can't get motivated to sit at my scrappy desk and do anything. I do have my second batch of Two Peas August GGG projects that I forgot to share earlier, so these may be new to you. ;) The theme this month was patterned paper.

(You can click on the project title links to see more photos and close-ups of the projects over at Two Peas.)

First up is must love big dogs, a layout I did about my love for big dogs. I had lots of fun with the patterned paper strips and color on this one.

Next up is bloom. For this card, I cut the letters and bee out of patterned paper and added some fun stitches.

Next is a backpack tag I made for my younger daughter, Harper. I cut out the circles and bird from patterned paper and did a little crazy stitching. This was fun, because I didn't have to try and make the stitching look perfect.

Last up is another card, grow. For this I used a large bingo card and folded it in half for the card base. I cut out the letters and star, and adhered some patterned paper underneath. The title was just screaming for some color. ;)

Well, that is it for me today. Hope you all have a great week. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Roree, I like every single piece of this work. Those butterflies are so cute, have to try this too. And that crazy stitching is perfect. Also love the stitches on the bloom-card.
Great job girl and I hope you all will feel better soon.

Making a card for 2sketches4you I was inspired by the colourcombo of your wrapped gift. I put it on my blog and mentioned your name.
Thanks for the inspiration.

You WORKED IT, girl! Love the way you do patterned paper and details. These are all pure eye candy. -- We've been having the yucky colds at our house, too. UGH! Here's hoping both of our families cycle through it soon. ;) Hugs!
