Looking for a little PINspiration?

Hey everyone!  Roree here, and today I want to share a layout I created for Pink Paislee that was inspired by a pin I found on Pinterest.

I love, love, love Pinterest.  It is my go-to place for inspiration.  No matter what I am looking for inspiration for:  scrapbooking, crafts, food, fashion, etc, etc… I can find it there. I went looking through my Pinterest boards specifically for today’s project and while I was there, I found this pin:

(image from Pinterest)

I just love all of the button images, in all shapes and sizes, mixed with the stitched images.  I just yelled out “Pick Me!”

Here is the layout I created using this image for inspiration:

I decided to use the new Prairie Hill collection for my project the Chipboard Pops package was filled with chipboard circle that reminded me of buttons.  But instead of just using circles, I mixed it up a bit and added Element Stickers, Accolade Stickers, Buttons, Expressions Wood Shop Alphas, Bitty Blocks Alphas, Ribbon, and hand stitching.  It made for a fun collage of scrappy goodness!

And since the layout uses Prairie Hill and it is about myself,  the fun messages like “You Deserve It” and “The Sky’s The Limit” are just added inspiration for myself.

So, did you find any inspiration in today’s post?  If so, head on over to Pinterest  to find some more.  You won’t be sorry that you did.  ;)

Hope you all have a great day.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

October Afternoon Sketch

Hey everyone!  I am coming by today to share a sketch I created for October Afternoon's Thursday sketch (which was originally posted last Thursday.)

I have been having a lot of fun creating sketches lately, and I hope you all will enjoy this one too.

In form with past couple of sketches I created, I kept with an 8.5 x 11" layout or a 4.25 x 5.5" card shape.

I decided to create a card for this sketch, and here it is:

I created a row of embellishments with buttons, chipboard, and die-cuts.

And because I decide to go with a party/birthday theme, I added some baker's twine to the chipboard balloon to intertwine with the sentiment.  I thought it would be a fun little element on the card.

Amy Heller played along with my sketch this week, and you can see her beautiful card HERE.

If you get a chance to play along with this week's sketch, don't forget to post it in the OA Flickr group.  We love to see what you all are creating with OA products!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a great night!

NEW Pink Paislee **Photo Heavy Post**

Hey everyone!  I am finally getting a chance to post on my blog.  I have had a crazy busy week, and I am finally slowing down a bit.  I've been wanting to come by to share the projects that I made for Pink Paislee using their gorgeous new collections.  My assignments for CHA were to create a 9 x 12" collage for each of the collections.

First off is London Market:

This is such a soft and sweet collection.  Gorgeous papers, gorgeous embellishments, gorgeous everything!

Next up is Spring Jubilee:

I am so loving the beautiful colors in this collection.  And the tags are one of my favorite new embellishments.

Next is Prairie Hill:

This collection has wonderful colors and patterns, and I am totally loving the clouds, suns, and kites!

And last but not least, Indigo Bleu:

I am lov-lov-lovin' the yellow and blues in this collection.  And the denim brads and wood buttons are my absolute favorites!

And don't forget to check out the new She Art collection too.  Can't wait to try this one out!

Hope you all enjoyed today's post.  I will try and get back soon to share some more.  Thanks so much for stopping by!
