A few projects to share...

I am coming off of a busy week last week, so I totally forgot about my blog. I love to share my work, but I am totally terrible at keeping up with this thing. I was never one to journal as a kid (or as an adult), and that really is what blogging is all about. So I am pretty bad at it. Sorry about that.

My first project to share is one that I did for Pink Paislee. (I don't think I said anything here, but I was recently asked to join the Pink Paislee DT. :) Very exciting stuff, huh!?! I love Pink Paislee products, so there was not one bit of hesitation to say YES!!!)

I purchased the little paper mache house at Michaels, and decorated it with lots of Pink Paislee product.

(If you check out my blog post over at the Pink Paislee blog, you can find out which products I used.)

My next project is a card, my take on sketch #86 over at the Sketch This blog.

I had lots of fun with color here, if you didn't already notice. ;) Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team did. So many gorgeous takes on the sketch, for sure!

Well, that is it for me today. It is pretty rainy here, so I think I will spend the day scrapping. ;) Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a great day!

We have a winner!

I want to thank everyone for playing along. It was so fun to see everyone's take on the same sketch. I loved every single one of them!

So.... on to the winner! Through a very accurate and scientific process (eeny meeny miny mo *hehe*), I have selected one lucky girl who will receive the Scrap'n Supply Shack May card kit. She is.....................

Fun sketch. I even got some sewing in on my card. You can see my take of the sketch on my blog: http://papercraftspassiton.blogspot.com/2009/05/sketch-challenge-and-mothers-day.html

Again, thanks so much for playing along. I will see you back here again sometime next week. Hope you all have a great weekend!

Things are looking a little sketchy...

because the new sketch went up over at Sketch This. I had lots of fun with this one.

Another layered flower. I just can't stop. I am addicted to making them. ;)

Don't forget to stop by and see what the design team did with the sketch too. To me, that is always the best part... seeing how different everyone's layouts/cards come out using the same starting point.

Just a friendly reminder: You have until Friday, May 8th, to make a Mother's Day card using the sketch in my last post for a chance to win the May card kit from Scrap'n Supply Shack. Hope to see some more cards for this!

Well, that is it for me today. I have to go get dinner started, so we can eat a little earlier than normal. We have a late softball game to go to tonight. I hope you are all off to a good start this week. Thanks so much for stopping by!

How about a little sketch challenge...

This month, I was asked to guest design for Scrap'n Supply Shack's May Card Kit. I had so much fun working with this kit. Fun, colorful papers from Dream Street and Scribble Scrabble with lots of adorable embellishments mixed in. It really got my creative juices flowing.

And here is the good news! Scrap'n Supply Shack is allowing me to give away one of these beautiful kits, so this is where the sketch challenge comes in.

Use this sketch by Debbie Sherman to create a card for Mother's Day. You have from now until May 8th to get it done. Then, link up your creation in the comment section and I will pick a winner to receive the SnSS May Card Kit. This fun sketch should get you motivated to play with your scrappy supplies (with a chance to win more) while making sure you get a Mother's Day card made for Mom. Can't beat that!

I will leave you all with the cards I made using this kit. Hope you like them!

Make sure to check out the Scrap'n Supply Shack blog and gallery to get some more inspiration.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great weekend! :)
