Happy belated Valentine's Day!

Sorry I didn't get by before today, but we went out of town for the weekend. We went to Mobile for Mardi Gras. Fun, fun, fun! I think we caught our weight in beads, moon pies, and lots of other fun stuff. (Well, not really but almost. ;) )

So since I missed posting these before Valentine's Day, I hope you don't mind me posting them now. These are a couple of pocket cards I made using the Sweet Shoppe collection from Collage Press. I used the patterned paper, die-cuts, and letter stickers. This line was just perfect to use for Valentine's Day, and I thought the pocket cards would be appropriate for all of the candy that the kids and I like to give for the holiday.



These cards could be easily changed to fit a number of different occasions though. Very quick and easy to do. For these particular cards, I used my Cricut and Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cartridge to cut out the pockets. I did make a slight adjustment and cut (by hand) the front of the pocket a little shorter, so you could see the candy a little better.

Since I haven't really been posting on this sad little blog all that much lately, I have lots to share. I will plan on being back lots this week to put a little life back into it. See you again soon, and thanks so much for stopping by!

A few cards to share...

Just thought I would pop on to share a few cards that I made for Collage Press recently.

First up... an owl card. I actually was inspired to make this card from a fun little Halloween embellishment I have. I just love the shape of the owl, and the papers, die-cuts, and letter stickers from the Knave of Hearts collection worked perfectly with it.

Next up... a sweet little card using patterned paper, die-cuts, and letter stickers from the Sweet Shoppe collection. I am in LOVE with the the colors and the slightly shabby feel of this collection. The cupcakes don't hurt, either. ;) YUMMY!!!!!!

With Valentine's Day on the way, both of the collections would be perfect for any and all types of projects. A few last minute Christmas cards...

I wanted to share a few Christmas cards I made using the Joyride collection from Collage Press.

For my first card, I used a journaling card as a tag and dressed it up with alphabet stickers for the sentiment. A very quick and easy card. Perfect for the busy holidays.

For my second card, I focused on the fun die-cut shaped paper. It is actually from the Sweet Shoppe collection, but it works so well with the Joyride collection. Then I just added some chipboard and journaling cuts, and I cut out a few peppermint shapes from the patterned paper to adorn the tree.

A little Pink Paislee for you...

Thought I would stop by and share my Pink Paislee projects with you for this month.

For this first project is a Christmas one. I decorated some old ribbon spool to make Christmas ornaments. Not a new concept, but a first time one for me. I used the Mistletoe & Co. collection, and I just love the way they turned out.

This next project I did for the Pink Paislee blog. My theme this month was Friday Feelings. For this, I decided to put the focus on my journaling with stitching. I used my sewing machine and underlined my journaling, then added a few zigzag stitches for fun. I used the Cupid collection and Expressions Alphabets. I am in love with the colors of this collection.
