I wanted to come by to share with you all a layout I did for the Pink Paislee blog. My 'theme' was Simple Stories - ways to incorporate journaling into your layout.
I did my layout about turning 40. (Yikes! at the number, but in all truth, it's not that bad. ;) )
I actually turned 40 last year, so I thought that would be a good topic to share my thoughts on for a layout.
I am SO not a journaler, and I always feel challenged adding journaling to my pages. Plus, I am not always crazy about my handwriting. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't. So, I decided to add Kraft pockets/envelopes to my page to store little tags with my journaling, made from the Daily Junque Mini Notes and Labels.
I added some decorative stitches in different colors to the pockets to liven them up a bit.
Then I added that cute, little 'Don't Forget' pointing finger Wooden Shape from the Soiree collection to help me remember all of those fun 'be' sayings on the Daily Junque Tickets patterned paper.
I also added a fun little banner too. For that I used one a Border Sticker from the Hometown Summer collection.
You can see more about the Pink Paislee products I used here.
Well, that is all from me today. I'm going to try and take it easy, and hopefully I won't be hurting so much tomorrow. I will be back later in the week (maybe even tomorrow) to share more projects with you. So until then, see ya later! :)
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Gorgeous layout...and GORGEOUS YOU! If I'll look half as good as you when I turn 40, I'll be happy.
